Memory is a Strange Bell, 2026

The works are part of the series Palettes (2024–ongoing), in which data visualizations in the form of pie charts are translated into the structure of makeup palettes.

The wall work is composed of cut and joined egg trays, with selected elements dyed. Its arrangement refers to an earlier iteration developed using Conway’s Game of Life, in which a simple set of rules generates changing patterns across a grid.

Face Paint (2026) is a series of food packages featuring typified images of children. The portraits are modified with camouflage make-up issued by the German Bundeswehr. Positioned in relation to mirrors, the altered faces become visible primarily through their reflections.
